Step 1. What is a Viewing Party?

If you are not travelling to the official location of the Polkadot Decoded 2023 (Copenhagen, Denmark) and have experience in hosting events, you could host a viewing party 🎉

Here is more information on what a viewing party is:

• Goal: Bring the local Polkadot community together — wherever you are in the world. While you won’t be able to join in-person, we would still love to have people come together and join us virtually.
• Idea: Host a viewing party in your city, where you invite likeminded people who are interested in learning about web3 and Polkadot, so you can live stream Polkadot Decoded 2023 and watch it together.
• Date: June 28th and/or 29th
• Size of the event: The viewing party is made for local community members, an ideal number of participants would be between 20 and 75 people. The event budget should not exceed 5,000 USD.
• Funding suggestion: food and beverages, venue rental, rented equipment (projector, audio)

Step 2. Write a Proposal

If you are interested in organising a viewing party for your local community, you need to write a proposal to get funding.

Step 3. Submit your Proposal

Once your proposal is done:

• Complete this Google Form.
• Announce your proposal on the public channel Decoded 2023 on the Polkadot Discord server.
• All the proposals will be reviewed and manually added to a public table where you can check its status.

<aside> ℹ️ Proposal submissions to the bounty via the Google Form will be closed on June 7th.

<aside> 📣 All submitted proposals will be reviewed by the curators of the bounty 16 on Kusama, for Spanish-speaking viewing parties, and the bounty 17 on Polkadot for the rest of the world. For approved proposals, you can expect to be able to claim your child bounty by June 22nd.
